Life in the Universe: Its Intricacies and Subplots

Despite all the negative backlash dub-step (and the bazillion sub genres within it) gets, I still happen to think that it’s a style that really resonates with the youth of today (and I’m talking about the generation after me because I’m olllld now…but I’m still cool, right kids??).

I’ve been a huge fan of this general style of electronic music since I was introduced to it by my ex who took me to a Roni Size concert in Manchester almost 4 years ago (even though he’s more on the DnB side of things).

I won’t get into the arguments of “oh it all sounds the same”, because it doesn’t, and even when it does it’s still full of energy.

This is all to say that for someone who gets accused of making douchey music, Skrillex seems like a pretty down to earth fella. After watching this video, I can’t imagine that last night he was too mad, bro.
