Evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins is 6.9/7 percent sure that God does not exist, he says in a discussion with the Archbishop of Canterbury.

“What I can’t understand is why you can’t see (that life started from nothing and) is such a staggering, elegant, beautiful thing, why would you want to clutter it up with something so messy as a God,” Dawkins told Williams, according to The Daily Telegraph account.
I never understood why people think that being an atheist means that you are some sort of nihilist who sees no wonder or beauty in creation. It’s the opposite, in fact. Evolution is a far more miraculous thing than a pseudo-benevolent entity snapping its fingers 5,000 years ago and saying “look, EVERYTHING”.
